Duo with Brahim Fribgane. I first met Brahim back in 1992 or 93, we played some of the first shows at The Cooler when they opened, and he brought me in to open for Moroccan bands that he played with when they came through NYC, including The Master Musicians Of Joujoka and Hassan Hakmoun. This session brought back memories of late nights playing and hanging out with this brother. In addition, this was recorded by my good friend Scotty Hard, and mixed by myself on 4/4/2022. Brahim sadly passed away, yesterday, he was a truly inspiring man, full of bright compassion, sensitivity, warmth and musical generosity. He was my brother who id call every Ramadan. I will miss you.
