The critically acclaimed album Soldier Of Midian (August, 2001) was produced by Raz Mesinai between 1998 and 2001 as a gift to the Moroccan community of NYC and was originally released on the legendary Dub, punk label ROIR records in August of 2001. At the time Mesinai was performing and collaborating with musicians Brahim Fribgane, Hassan Hakmoun and others as well as opening for Hamza El Din, Bashir Attar and The Master Musicians Of Joujouka as Badawi.
